Hotel Features.
Named after the king who commissioned its construction in 1928, Hotel Alfonso XIII was originally built to house heads of state and high- ranking guests of the 1929 Great Ibero-American Exhibition. This palatial property reflects Mudejar Revival architecture with marble floors, wood-paneled ceilings, Moorish lamps, ceramic hand-painted tiles and antique furnishings. The hotel's dining options include complimentary buffet-style breakfasts. San Fernando Restaurant serves Spanish and Mediterranean dishes, and features blue and clear-glass leaded windows and dark-wood furnishings.
