The traditional Hotel Colon Barcelona is located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, Spain. The hotel is 500 metres from the bustling Las Ramblas promenade and one kilometre from the beach. The nearest metro stations are Jaume I, Urquinaona and Liceu. Barcelona Airport (BCN) is 16 kilometres from the hotel.

Hotel Features.
Named after Christopher Columbus, the Hotel Colon Barcelona is a six-storey 1950s building facing Barcelona Cathedral across a tree-lined square.

Leading off the lobby, the smart La Carabela de Colon restaurant has parquet flooring and a tiled panel depicting Columbus' ship. It serves a buffet breakfast (surcharge), and Mediterranean-themed specialities, such as paella Parellada, for lunch and dinner. The restaurant's terrace overlooks the cathedral's spires.

The Hotel Colon Barcelona has two meeting rooms with a capacity of 60 and 150 guests respectively. Both rooms can be combined for larger functions, and have wireless Internet access.
